This workshop is centered around “La Gobernadora” also known as Creosote Bush or Chaparral. The Governess is a plant native to our Sonoran Desert and is considered one of our most sacred and medicinal plants.
Participants of the workshop will learn how to mindfully collect the flora, learn her history, and create a medicinal salve to take home.

Once registered: Attendees are asked to wear shoes suitable for the desert as we will be collecting plant material from my desert back yard and are asked to bring a notepad and pen, water, and an open mind as you learn about this plant from an Indigenous perspective.
